Plus Size Wedding Dress Size Guide

Our wedding dresses are made in standard bridal sizes, which may differ from the size you normally wear in everyday clothing. We recommend using your bust, waist and hip measurements rather than choosing a gown by the number on the label.

Not every gown is available to purchase online in every size. Some dresses are made to order, while others are available ready to wear in selected sizes. Please check the individual product page or contact us for current availability.

Many Plus Size Perfection Bridal gowns have a lace-up back, giving some flexibility through the bodice. However, the amount of adjustment will vary depending on the design and should not replace choosing the most suitable size.

Alterations are common with wedding dresses and may include adjusting the bust, waist or hips, shortening the hem or adding a bustle to the train.

Unsure which size to choose? Please contact our team before ordering. We are happy to help you compare your measurements with the size chart.

Gown length is approximately 60 inches or 175 cm from the hollow of the neck to the hem. Length and fit may vary slightly between designs.

How to take your measurements

For the most accurate result, wear light clothing or the underwear you expect to wear beneath your gown. Keep the measuring tape level and comfortably fitted without pulling it tight.

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust.

Waist: Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom.

When your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the size that fits your largest measurement. A dressmaker can usually take a gown in more easily than let it out.
